This notice explains how Dushyant’s Legal Services uses cookies and similar browser-based storage technologies on dushyantls.com.

Essential — Local Storage (Always Active)

We store one item in your browser’s local storage:

  • Key: dls_disclaimer_v1
  • Purpose: Records that you have acknowledged the mandatory Bar Council of India disclaimer, so it is not shown on every page visit.
  • Contains: The string "accepted" — no personal data.
  • Duration: Persists until you clear your browser’s local storage.
  • Transmitted to server: Never.

This storage item is strictly necessary for the site to function as required by BCI rules and cannot be disabled without disabling JavaScript.

Analytics Cookies (Optional — Disabled by Default)

Analytics tracking is disabled by default. If enabled by the site operator, Google Analytics 4 may be loaded. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymised, aggregate data about how visitors use the website. IP anonymisation is applied.

When analytics is enabled, Google may set cookies including _ga, _ga_*, and related identifiers. These persist for up to 2 years. For more, see Google’s Privacy Policy.

Third-Party — Google Maps

The contact section of this website embeds a Google Maps iframe. When loaded, Google may set its own cookies pursuant to Google’s Privacy Policy. We have no control over these cookies.

  • View and delete cookies and local storage data.
  • Block third-party cookies.
  • Set preferences per website.

Note that disabling cookies or local storage may affect how this website functions (e.g. the BCI disclaimer will reappear on every visit).

To clear the DLS disclaimer preference: open your browser’s developer tools → Application → Local Storage → delete the entry dls_disclaimer_v1.
